Jane's role as a Community Manager is to engage, inspire and co-create with teachers in the LEGO® Education Community, as well as continuing the engagement at offline fairs and international robot events like FIRST® LEGO® League and World Robotic Olympics.
Further, LEGO® Education is on an online customer journey striving to create a seamless and better experience for new, potential and current customers. This also means that new LEGO® Education solutions will be much more interlinked with web and social platforms starting next year - therefore this will also play a bigger role in Jane's daily tasks in the future.
LEGO® Education solutions have been developed in close collaboration with universities like MIT, Cambridge and TUFTS and part of Jane's job is also to work closely with current stakeholders and map potential new stakeholders and platforms that could be of interest to start a partnership with or co-promote. USA, Germany and China are core markets for LEGO® and LEGO® Education and we have included all 3 countries in our global social marketing strategy – part of my job is now to execute and bring key stakeholders in action.
