Building a successful intranet in a global organisation requires collaboration, communication and connection across geography, languages and business areas.
Internal social media such as Yammer can (if used wisely) help pave the way for more and better collaboration.
But what else does it take to build a successful and fruitful internal community around an intranet?
At VELUX we have spent a lot of time consulting with the business and planning the rollout of our community in order to get it right - also after the initial launch excitement.
This session will focus on how we are building up a community who will act as community managers and change agents on the intranet VELUX One (the name of our intranet) which we have been piloting and are about to launch globally.
We believe that the roles relating to managing VELUX One should be formalised and time set off to do it. Part of our journey has been getting the business and our management onboard and support us in all of this. I will share how we have done this and show you what we are about to launch.
